We at Corto’s strive to offer nothing short of top notch hair cutting, styling, coloring, spa and beauty services with the highest level of customer service from the moment a client enters our doors, so that they feel like guests in our home.

We accomplish this by positively working as a team and taking complete pride and passion in the work we create. We promise to educate ourselves on the latest techniques and trends in the industry. At all time, our salon environment must be professional, friendly and fun for our clients and employees to enjoy. Our customer service will use the most qualified people, technology, procedures, and management to ensure clients leave satisfied beyond their expectations.

Our Stylists:

  • To ensure world-class quality to our clients, Corto’s puts our new stylists and service providers through an extensive training program before they are able to be on the cutting floor or performing spa services.
  • Under the guidance of owner/stylist Dominic Corto.  Each stylist must complete foundation training and a general apprenticeship that can be up to 1 year depending on their development progress. They must demonstrate mastery of various cutting techniques including one length, surface, square and round layers, bob, short graduation, men’s cuts, scissor over comb cut and other techniques as provided by Aveda, KMS, Surface and Goldwell training partnerships.
  • Additionally, they must show mastery of product knowledge, differences in hair color types. For color, all stylists must demonstrate mastery in color chemistry, PH scale, mixing and timing, application, structure of hair, elements of design, color theory, toning systems, porosity, pre-color, color removal, highlight/lowlights, color correction, dimensional highlighting, and other cutting edge color techniques before granted permission to be on the floor.
  • All stylists also must complete a minimum 32 hours of ongoing training per year, and often go way above this mark due to their passion in their craft. This type of program mitigates any chance of not giving our clients the level of quality they have come to expect from our salons.
  • If for any reason you are still not satisfied, our team is vast enough with various styles, creativity and personality, and we can match you with the most suitable stylist for you!

Our Spa Service Providers: Our spa service providers must complete various classes in affiliation to our partnerships with Aveda and Footlogix. Training classes include Skinwise program, new makeup collections training, and Stress Fix Body massage programs. A minimum of 32 Hours of ongoing education per year is mandated for all employees.

You’ll immediately notice a warm and family-like feeling of comfort from the moment you are greeted by our reception and staff. Wonderful seasonal beverages, coffee, tea, and snacks are complimentary, and new customers are treated with a gift bag with goodies and spa discounts! Our belief is that the service doesn’t just take place in the chair, but extends to when you first call to schedule all the way until you leave the salon! If you haven’t visited our salons recently, you may not even recognize them. No matter what you are looking for, our 3 locations are vastly unique and can suit many preference types. The 2012 renovations in South Buffalo have altered the salon to an urban chic style with hues of grays, blues and metallics to mimic the cutting edge technical prowess of the talented stylists on location. Our Hamburg Salon and Spa boasts a 7,500 Square foot facility with

  • 7 treatment rooms
  • 8 pedicure chairs
  • a tranquility lounge
  • 16 stylist stations
  • a men’s barbershop
  • and a world-class color treatment area

Its look has been transformed into modern cosmopolitan salon downstairs that collides with a decadently cozy “spa oasis” tucked away upstairs. Our Orchard Park Spa is cozy, quaint, peaceful, and exclusive. We will give you the feeling that you are a VIP (which we know you already are!) There are no hair services done at this location.
